RIVIERA BEACH, Florida — Law enforcement agencies were investigating a reported shooting at a VA hospital Wednesday evening.
The scene is at 7305 N Military Trl, in Riviera Beach.
The facility was placed on lockdown as officers cleared the scene.
The VA later said in a statement: “An incident has occurred this evening. There is no danger to patients or staff at this time and the area has been secured. We are working with local law enforcement and the investigation remains ongoing.”
There was no immediate word on injuries or a suspect.
