A Chinese acrobat fell to her death during a performance with her husband in the central Anhui province village of Hougao on Saturday.
The couple has been identified as Sun Moumou and Zhang Moumou, both 37 years old.
Video footage captured the harrowing moment when Sun, standing on her husband’s feet and holding onto his neck while being hoisted by a cable, lost her grip and plummeted 30 feet to the ground.
The acrobat was taken to a hospital, but was pronounced dead.
