France prepares as Ebola threatens international diplomats.

According to the French government, a UN official in Sierra Leone has been hostpitalzed for treatment of the rapidly spreading and deadly virus Ebola. The victim is said by official sources in the French ministry to have been flown to the hospital in a special flight and is now undergoing treatment in “high security isolation” in a Saint-Mande army training hospital close to the French capital.

While France has been extremely proactive in the fight against Ebola, along with several other countries offering aid to areas most badly affected, it has yet to experience a case of the infection on its own soil.

Yet amid the recent turn of events, and the fact that cases of Ebola have already hit areas such as Scottland, it is feared that Ebola could be making its way to Europe.
