Wesley Chapel, FL — Emergency crews responded to Florida Hospital in Wesley Chapel Tuesday evening after an explosion at the hospital’s ‘central plant’, WFLA reported.
Officials were called to the scene, 2600 Bruce B Downs Blvd., around 6:00 p.m.
The building reportedly lost all power but police later said only the A/C was lost.
Authorities were prepared to evacuate all patients but said maintenance workers restored the air conditioning in about two hours.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the blast is under investigation.
