Residents were evacuated after police found two potentially explosive devices in a Colorado Springs apartment.
All apartments near the 4400 block of East Pikes were evacuated as a precaution.
According to police, a resident of 4420 East Pikes Peak Avenue called saying that he or she heard what sounded like an explosion. Upon arrival, police found no evidence of an explosion, but did find what appeared to be two pipe bombs.
A bomb squad arrived and determined that the devices were indeed an active threat.
Police arrested Andy Marrero, 33, for posession of an explosive device.
