MARATHON, Fla. – Two people, 20-year-old Angela Viviana Velez Vazquez and 31-year-old Steven Lopez, were arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on Monday after a romantic encounter with a third individual turned violent, officials said.
While in bed, an argument ensued between them leading to a physical altercation. As a result, the 29-year-old victim reported being struck by both suspects, however, no injuries were reported.
Additionally, Lopez is accused of throwing a cinder block through the rear window of the victim’s car. Vazquez has been charged with battery.
It was unclear what sparked the argument.
