Kissimmee, Florida — On Friday, deputies responded to 133 Pickering Drive, in reference to a shooting.
Responding deputies found Savannah Leigh Threatts had sustained a gunshot wound and was deceased.
Deputies say that Anthonny Mendez, a roommate and friend of Savannah, had been ‘negligently handling a firearm and ultimately shot her.’
Anthonny Mendez was arrested for Manslaughter, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Violation of Probation and is currently being held at the Osceola County Jail with zero bond.
No further details were released.
