Florida Woman Tied Children To Washing Machine With Dog Leashes

OCOEE, Florida — 58-year-old Linda Brantley allegedly restrained children with dog collars and forced them to do physical tasks as punishment.

Police found dog leashes and collars secured to a washing machine in the home after they were alerted by a social worker.

The suspect made the children sleep with no pillows or blankets while tied to the washing machine with collars on their wrists.

The victims told investigators Brantley forced them to hold their hands in the air for extended periods of time as punishment.

The suspect was charged with aggravated child abuse, according to WESH.

A judge set Brantley’s bond at $5,000 and ordered she have no contact with the victims or witnesses. The judge also ordered Brantley to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
