REDWOOD CITY, CA – The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of three people in the murder of 27 year-old, Keith Green. The arrests came on the heels of an intensive investigation into Green’s suspicious disappearance, which subsequently turned into a homicide after his body was found in Sonoma County near the town of Healdsburg.

The information gathered during the investigation, allowed detectives to obtain two search warrants for a residence in Burlingame and a residence in Hillsborough. Both search warrants were served by Sheriff’s detectives with the assistance of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s SWAT team, Crisis Negotiation Unit and the local police agency.

The first search warrant was served Friday afternoon in the 1800 block of Trousdale in Burlingame. At the residence, 40 year-old Olivier Adella of Burlingame was taken into custody without incident.

The second search warrant was served Saturday morning in the 600 block of West Santa Inez in Hillsborough. Taken into custody at the residence were, 29 year-old Kaveh Bayat of Hillsborough and his girlfriend, 30 yearold, Tiffany Li, also of Hillsborough. Li is the former girlfriend of Green, the mother of his two children.

Green was reported missing on April 29th after he failed to return home after meeting with Li at the Millbrae Pancake House the night before. At the time, he only had his cell phone with him. His cell phone was later discovered in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park by a hiker.

On May 11th, his body was discovered by Sonoma County deputies off of highway 101, near the town of Healdsburg. An autopsy by the Sonoma County Coroner’s Office ruled Green’s death was a homicide.

Detectives are still processing evidence as they continue to build a case against the three suspects, and try to ascertain the motive behind Green’s death.

All three suspects were booked into the Maguire Correctional Faculty on charges of murder and conspiracy. They are expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Redwood City. All three are being held on a no bail status.
