The principal and PE teacher of Banks County Elementary School are no longer employed after an investigation confirmed allegations of sexual misconduct on campus.

The investigation was initiated by the superintendent, Dr. Ann Hopkins, following concerns raised by the principal, Dr. Dana Simmons, about the PE teacher, Dylan Charles, having access to sensitive information.

The investigation revealed that Charles had admitted to having an affair with Simmons for several years, both at the school and off-campus, and provided evidence of their sexual relationship.

Simmons admitted to having a sexual relationship with Charles and claimed that his wife was involved recorded and watched their sexual encounters, WSB-TV reported.

The investigation concluded that there was sufficient evidence that Simmons and Charles had sex on school property. As a result, both individuals are no longer teaching at Banks County Elementary School.
