BREAKING: Gunman In Vehicle Shoots At Georgia Police Officer

ATLANTA — Officials have confirmed a suspect exchanged gunfire with a police officer in south Georgia.

It is not known if anyone was wounded during the incident.

A 21-year-old man will now face charges after police say he opened fire on an officer from a passing vehicle.

The suspect was apprehended after a short pursuit in Roswell.

A gunman in a passing vehicle opened fire on the Atlanta police officer during a routine patrol.

According to initial reports, no one was hit by the shots.

The shooting happened at around 1.a.m. Friday.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the shooting.

Police are not aware of any possible motive, they also do not know if this is related to last nights shooting in Dallas.
