FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florid Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help locating the driver of a pickup truck that ran over a woman in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel around 11:30 a.m., March 8 in Fort Myers. The location is 4260 Boatways Road.
The 49-year-old victim, who is from from Cape Coral, was taken to a Hospital with serious injuries.
“Obviously, hits something that it shakes his whole vehicle, and then when he departs, he also has a vantage point of his driver side window and can obviously see where he just departed from,” said FHP Lt. Greg Bueno. “For someone not to have the wherewithal to stop their car get out and look and say what did I just hit, there’s no excuse for that.”
