A high-rise apartment building in New York’s Upper West Side was hit by a blaze Thursday afternoon.
The fire started in the high rise at 515 W. 59th Street at around 5 p.m., FDNY confirmed.
There have been injuries reported.
Firefighters are now on the scene battling the blaze.
New York TV station WPIX Channel 11 reported that the fire is not yet under control.
