NASHVILLE, TENN. — The Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the human bones found Sunday in a small duffle bag at the shoreline of Percy Priest Lake are those of Michael Lee Goff Jr., 57, of Cloverland Drive, who was last seen by his mother on May 26th. She reported him missing the following day.
The police department’s Homicide-Cold Case Unit, which investigates adult missing person reports, is continuing its work on the Goff case. A forensic anthropologist will attempt to determine the cause of Goff’s death.
Anyone with information concerning Goff is asked to Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
