Joe Jackson is being evaluated at a Los Angeles hospital after coming down with a high-fever during a routine checkup.
According to TMZ, Jackson went to see the doctor Friday when he became weak and developed a fever. He has been there ever since.
Staff at the hospital were still trying to figure out what the cause of the fever was, the report said.
Jermaine Jackson told the website, “My father’s doing much better. We were all worried […] All his vital signs are great.”
Jackson is 87.
He is the father of the Jackson family of entertainers which includes the music superstar Michael Jackson.
