A new Mexico judge has warned a teenager that he faced being ‘raped every day’ for 15 years while being someones ‘prison bitch’ if he re-offends during his probation.

Judge Christina Argyres decided to give Isaiah Gay a second chance at Bernalillo County District Court in Albuquerque after he admitted committing several residential burglaries with friends.

Gay, 19, was warned he faced an incredibly tough 15 years in prison by the judge.

According to a court transcript secured by Kob 4 News, Judge Argyres issued Gay with a stark warning.

She asked the teenager what would happen to him in prison as ‘a young and dumb person’.

Gay replied that he would ‘probably get beat up’.

Judge Argyres corrected him: ‘You would probably be raped every day, number one.

‘You would be beat up every other day. And I hate to sound like that, you know, but that’s exactly what would happen to you.

‘You’re a young guy, and the trauma that would cause you, you’ll never get that out of your head.’

The judge explained the seriousness of the situation, according to the official court transcript: ‘To me, the issue with residential burglary, again, it’s almost like a rape, because it is such an invasion and such an intrusion on somebody’s life and their property.’

‘No means none. So if you want to risk it, all parole violations will come back to me and I will certainly remember the 15 years hanging over your head.

‘I’m willing to give you a chance. You blow it, it’s on you, not on me. Fair enough?’
