PHILADELPHIA — One person had been arrested in the stabbing of Nicki Minaj roadie, De’Von Pickett. Arrest warrants issued for two others, according to Darla Miles of WABC. Developing.
EARLIER REPORT – 2/18/15 — The incident is described as a bar fight, possibly involving a recently fired employee from a bar in Philly. The two victims were apparently working for rapper Nicki Minaj. One of the men died and another is recovering but critical.
The argument began inside Che Bar & Grill along Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighborhood, according to NBC.
The suspect is still at large and was last seen driving off in a gray Buick LeSabre.
Minaj wrote the following statement on Instagram:
“#Rp @myfabolouslife – these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.”
Nicki Minaj, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Minaj became the first female solo artist to have seven singles simultaneously charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
