PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Attorney Joe McCarthy, 47 passed away after collapsing at a local gym.
The medical examiner says McCarthy was taken to UPMC Passavant hospital in McCandless where he was pronounced dead this morning.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
Coach McCarthy cancelled his post-season press conference today due to personal matters.
He was hired as head coach of the Packers in 2006, and won Super Bowl XLV in 2010 over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
