According to a preliminary investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department, a four-year-old boy accidentally shot himself suffering life-threatening injuries.
Alicia Smiley, LMPD Public Information Officer, said the incident happened around 3:20 p.m. Saturday in the boy’s home in the 2100 block of Narrangansett Avenue near Algonquin Park.
LMPD reported the boy is alive and is being treated at Kosair Children’s Hospital.
