Manhunt On For Suspect Who Allegedly Killed Girlfriend In Washington State

PUYALLUP, Wash. – Deputies and detectives are actively searching for homicide suspect Jordan Eaton, following a shooting early this morning near South Hill.

At 4:14 a.m. on Monday January 28, 2019, Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence on 71st Ave. E. in the South Hill area. Deputies learned that a male suspect reportedly shot his girlfriend inside the home, then fled on foot with a firearm. The 19 year old female victim died at the scene from her wounds.

The suspect has been identified as Jordan Eaton; he is a 26 year old white male, 5’8” tall, 140 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, and no shoes. Eaton is considered armed and dangerous.

Following the shooting, the suspect reportedly stole a van from a business on Valley Ave. NW in the City of Puyallup. The van is a white 2006 GMC Savanna with a small refrigeration unit on the top, a Liberty Distribution logo on the sides, and Washington state license plate number B25902H. It was last seen leaving the Crosslands Motel on Meridian Ave. in the City of Puyallup.

Detectives and deputies are actively searching the Puyallup area and are asking the public to call 911 if they see the homicide suspect or the stolen van he is believed to be traveling in.
