U.S. Attorney James Santelle said 27 people are in custody after a southeast Wisconsin crime ring was busted.

Santelle released the indictment of 27 members of the crime gang, reportedly led by 40-year-old Kevin Arms of Pewaukee. Santelle did not elaborate on the specifics of the crimes committed in the indictment.

He said those arrested face various gun, drug, homicide and money laundering charges. Agents are also working to prosecute others who helped Arms reportedly hide his illegal earnings, according to Santelle.
