The controversial leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige, has elleged that someone has threatened to kill him after he received multiple threatening telephone calls.
An unknown person repeatedly kept calling the main telephone number of the group’s office in Hollywood threatening to kill Miscavige.
The LAPD have launched an investigation after Miscavige informed officials of the alleged threats.
“Tell David that we are going to kill him,” the person said during one of the calls, TMZ reported.
‘We are going to assassinate Mr. Miscavige and every single one of you.
‘You tell your leader, who is an a**hole and a motherf*****, he is going to be shot pretty soon.’
The operator who answered the phone during the last call kept the suspect engaged for nearly three hours and was able to retrieve some information, which included his Skype address.
In the investigation into the threats, LAPD’s Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant last month against the person.
According to TMZ, authorities closed in on a Jewish businessman, but it’s not clear if any arrests have been made in the case.
