MIAMI, Florida — No victims or suspect found. Call was unfounded. The Miami Police Department confirm it was a ‘swatting’ hoax:

“We weren’t able to locate any victims or subjects inside the home,” Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said. “The resident and the staff have been extremely very cooperative with police, which we appreciate. And at this point we have broken down the perimeter and we’re unable to locate any victims or subjects. We can say for sure it was a hoax. The nature and how that originated, we don’t know, that will lead to an investigation.”

Police were called to the rapper’s Miami Beach mansion after someone called saying they intended to start a gunfight with officers, TMZ said. The person claimed 4 people had already been shot.

EARLIER REPORT: Young Money Records has just released a statement saying Wayne was not home and is ok after alleged incident.

A command center has been set up at the scene.

SWAT team members are on the scene and police said no entry to the home has been made yet and they have been unable to contact anyone inside the home.
