DELAWARE — The Newark Police Department continues to investigate the incident in which a 20 year old male fell from a third story roof on March 19, 2016.
The victim, who died as a result of the fall, has been identified as Willem H. Golden of Cohasset, Massachusetts.
Newark Police detectives have learned that the victim was a guest at the residence located on the 100 block of West Main Street, Newark. At approximately 3:55 p.m., Mr. Golden went out onto the roof of the residence.
At the time, a light rain had occurred and the roof surface was wet. Detectives have determined that Mr. Golden was on the roof by himself and according to witness accounts, Mr. Golden appeared to have slipped and fell.
No foul play is suspected.
