JACKSONVILLE — On Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 9:00 p.m., a shooting occurred in the lobby of Popeye’s located at 656 Edgewood Avenue North. An unknown suspect was upset about his food order.
The suspect entered the business and attacked an employee. The suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene in an older, dark colored pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150.
The truck possibly has a dent on the hood. The vehicle has a chrome front and rear bumper. A black toolbox is mounted to the bed of the truck.
The suspect is a black male with neatly braided hair. The suspect was wearing a black long sleeve button–up shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. There appears to be an unknown passenger in the truck.
