A man has now been arrested after telling a porn star he would kill her and stream the murder over the live-streaming app Periscope.

Police have charged Brian Blankenship, 25, with transmitting a communication threatening to injure an identified individual, People.com reported.

The suspect from Georgia allegedly threatened to shoot Malena Morgan a day after the on air murders of news reporter Alison Parker and her cameraman Adam Ward, according to court records.

He apparently mentioned the deaths in Virginia that happened in August.

The adult actress from California called police a few days after discovering the Periscope video and also told them about further abusive emails she had received.

These were allegedly linked to Blankenship.

He is said to have admitted to making the videos and emails during an interview with the FBI on October 8.

Blankenship, who is in custody, could be jailed for five years if convicted.

He has pleaded not guilty, according to the Daily Beast.
