The scumbag suspect accused of exploiting a 15-year-old girl by acting as her pimp and prostituting her at a South Florida motel was arrested Tuesday.
Agustin Santana, 22, faces charges of human trafficking, interference with child custody and sexual battery on a minor.
According to the police report, the girl’s parents were distributing flyers at a La Quinta hotel in Cutler Bay when an employee recognized her from an advertisement on Backpage.com.
An undercover police officer posing as a potential client arranged to meet the girl, who agreed to be paid $100 for 30 minutes of sex, the report said.
When officers arrived at the hotel, they found Santana “in the hallway within close proximity to the room, acting as a lookout and security” for the girl, the report said.
