TEXAS — A man was critically injured during a fight at a tailgate party outside AT&T stadium Sunday.
The fight broke out following the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots game.
The incident was reported to police about 8:20 p.m. in Lot 10 at the stadium, the Star-Telegram reported. When police arrived, they heard the gunshot.
The victim, in his 40s, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
The alleged shooter reportedly fell while attempting to flee, was injured and was also taken to the hospital.
The suspect was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and will be jailed once he is released from the hospital.
