A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death Tuesday near Times square.
He was found at approximately 9:30 p.m. W. 40th Street and 7th Avenue with two wounds to the chest, police reported.
Witnesses say the incident occurred when a fight broke out at the New Star Cafe located on 7th Avenue where the victim came around the corner before collapsing to the ground on West 40th Street.
The man was stabbed in the cafe after having eaten in the back of the establishment.
The victim was taken to Bellevue and pronounced dead.
The NYPD has since released the above photos on the suspect.
