TULSA, Oklahoma — On Sunday, at 12:25 am, Tulsa police responded to 300 W. 63rd St N for a stabbing. The victim, Roy Leathers, had a stab wound to his chest and stated that his son, Roy Leathers III, stabbed him with a broken knife at their home, located nearby.
When officers arrived, they located the suspect in front of the home, where he was taken into custody. The suspect had a laceration to his head from where the victim struck him with a pipe in an attempt to get away.
Both were transported by EMSA to hospitals where they were treated and released. The suspect was later booked for Domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
