Man Upset Over Service At Fast-Food Restaurant Causes $6,800 In Damage, Cops Say

HOUSTON, Texas — On Sunday, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the Sonic Drive-In located in the 32200 block of Northwest Freeway in reference to a disturbance.

Upon deputies arriving, Sonic employees advised that an unknown male suspect became upset over the delay in service and damaged a door and digital menu before fleeing the scene in his vehicle.

Investigation revealed that he caused $6,800.00 in damages. After a thorough investigation, Constable Deputies were able to identify the suspect as Joshua Defriese who was located and taken back to the original scene where witnesses positively identified him as the suspect who damaged the property.

“Joshua Defriese was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Criminal Mischief. His bond was set at $1,500.00 out of the 182nd District Court.
