A woman lost her leg after she was struck and dragged about 100 feet by a cement truck in Manhattan Saturday morning, police sources said.
The truck hit the 63-year-old woman while she was crossing Second Avenue at 68th Street at around 10 a.m. The driver, who later stayed on the scene, did not stop until bystanders flagged him down, because he didn’t know he had hit the woman.
She is critical.
