MANHUNT: Police Search For Suspect In Slaying of Texas Woman – ARMED & DANGEROUS

AUSTIN, TX — On Sunday, January 21, 2018 at approximately 4:46 p.m., 911 received multiple calls of shots fired in the 5300 block of Wellington Dr. The callers advised that one person appeared to have been shot and was lying on the ground. Austin Fire arrived first on scene and immediately began attending to Ronda Beans. EMS transported her to Dell Seton Medical Center where she succumbed to her wounds. She was pronounced deceased at 5:20 p.m. The Travis County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy on Tuesday, January 23.

Homicide investigators have processed the scene and spoken with witnesses. Based on information learned so far, this incident may be the result of an ongoing domestic violence issue between the suspect, Waymon “Keith” Eason Sr., and the victim.

The APD Homicide Unit has issued a murder warrant for Eason. His bond has been set at one million dollars.

Waymon Eason goes by his middle name “Keith” and is described as:

– African-American male
– 5′ 7″
– 49 years of age
– Approximately 185 lbs.
– Brown eyes
– Balding

Anyone with information about Eason’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
