James Crudup, 44, is wanted on attempted murder charges in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Police say Crudup pulled into a Hess gas station early Sunday morning and got into a physical argument with his girlfriend.

The couple got out of the truck and that’s when the suspect choked the victim on the ground.

The man returned to his vehicle where he then rammed the truck at her, pinning her between the truck and a gas pump. He backed up and rammed her again as she fell onto the ground.

Officials say he then ran over her legs before fleeing.

The suspect was last seen heading west on Route 37.

Medics rushed the woman to Jersey Shore Medical Center. Officials said her injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

Crudup, who remains on the loose, is described as 5-feet 10-inches tall and approximately 250 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen driving a brown 2000 Dodge Durango, according to reports.
