CHATTANOOGA – (TBI) — A joint investigation conducted by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and two other agencies has resulted in the arrest of an Englewood man on charges of killing his father and assaulting his mother.

At the request of 10th District Attorney General Steve Crump, TBI Special Agents, working alongside detectives with the Englewood Police Department and Investigative Division of the District Attorney General’s Office, began investigating the death of Phillip Elrod and the assault of his wife Teresa.
