JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A Florida middle school teacher has been arrested for sending nude photos and explicit messages to children–including students, police say.
Kristopher Beckstrom, 42, Landon Middle School music teacher, is accused of sending and soliciting sexually explicit photos to and from minors across the country. Police say he posed as a 15-year-old boy during the chats.
Officers say Beckstrom created a fake Instagram account posing as a boy with the profile name “erikb20172018.” He also made contact with minors via Snapchat. The profile for the Snapchat was the same, “erikb20172018.”
Beckstrom was allegedly targeting random people on the internet as well as past students, police say.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone who believes they have been victimized to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or email [email protected].
