EL PASO, Texas — The El Paso Police Department says “Kilo” the police K-9 that was missing has been found. A citizen located “Kilo” at a public park in North East El Paso.
The Citizen had seen the Media coverage and posts on social media of the missing police dog. The citizen contacted
police and retuned “Kilo” back to the El Paso Police Department. The Police dog was not injured after being
missing for over a day.
The animal went missing from his kennel located in a residential area near Americas High School. It is believed that fireworks in the area startled the K9 causing the dog to leave his kennel.
The El Paso Police Department thanked all the members of the media and the citizens of El Paso for helping locate “Kilo”.
