UPDATE: Two Ohio Girls Test Negative For Ebola

The two girls who were being held in isolation after Ebola fears have tested negative. Instead, the girls tested positive for Influenza A. And the mother, who was not in West Africa with the children is not considered a ‘high-risk individual.’

EARLIER: A Columbus, Ohio family is awaiting test results sent in this morning. At a Sunday briefing, Columbus Public Health revealed that close to 50 people that may have been in contact with the family and are being closely monitored. The family returned from the Sierra Leone region of West Africa 17 days ago.

The test results should be in by 6 p.m. this evening. The family is in isolation and their home has been quarantined.
