DEER PARK, Texas — On Tuesday, at 8:44 a.m. the Deer Park Police Department received a welfare check call at a home on New Orleans St. in Deer Park.
Upon arrival officers located one deceased woman and three deceased children in the home. All suffered gunshot wounds.
They were identified as 39 year old Ashley Auzenne, 11 year old Parrish Auzenne, 9 year old Eleanor Auzenne, and 7 year old Lincoln Auzenne.
The Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the deaths as a murder-suicide with the mother as the suspect.
According to local media, Ashley and her children moved into the neighborhood about two years ago. Records show the parent’s filed for divorce last year. The father is not believed to be involved in the crime.
‘I’m upset. Children? Really?’ Annette Flores, a neighbor told KPRC.
‘Children are innocent, I mean, I mean, it’s just, it’s a waste, and it’s just really bad, and it makes me angry that someone would take it out on children,’ Flores said.
