DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS — On June 14, 2015, at approximately 6:39 p.m., LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a critically injured male on the floor in an apartment located in the 700 block of North 10th Street. Arriving officers and medical personnel located a male inside the residence who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The preliminary investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide section indicated that the victim and suspect were in a dating relationship.
The suspect, later identified as 46 year-old Allen Pierce, and the victim were in their apartment when they got into a verbal argument which turned physical. The victim died as a result of the altercation.
Based on the investigation, Pierce was arrested for Murder and was transported to the Clark County Detention Center This is the 51st homicide investigated by LVMPD in 2015.
The identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
