Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Floyd Anthony “Andy” Evans, 65 years old.
On June 16, 2018, former Fremont Mayor Floyd Anthony “Andy” Evans was found dead in a garage located on Evans Farm Road in Fremont, North Carolina. Upon arrival, Wayne County Deputies discovered Evans deceased, with a gunshot wound to the head.
