Nashville, TENNESSEE — The man found murdered Sunday morning in the 2700 block of Old Smith Springs Road has been identified through his fingerprints as Adrin B. Ohaekwe, 22, who is last known to have lived on Paddington Way in Antioch. Ohaekwe is alleged to have been involved in a drug-related shooting/robbery at a Smyrna home Saturday night.
Smyrna police early Sunday swore out an arrest warrant charging Ohaekwe with especially aggravated robbery and had been actively seeking him. Hermitage Precinct detectives are working closely with Smyrna police in the continuing investigation.
Ohaekwe was discovered just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday by a man walking along Old Smith Springs Road. Witnesses in the area reported hearing sounds that may have been gunshots at around 1:05 a.m.
