Albuquerque, NM – The United States Marshals Service in New Mexico arrested Eugene Padilla this afternoon in South East Albuquerque along with his wife Amanda Padilla. Padilla was added to the United States Marshals Service District of New Mexico “New Mexico’s Most Wanted Program” in October of 2016.
Padilla was wanted by the Bernalillo Count Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Appear on a Grand Jury Indictment for Attempt to commit 1st Degree Murder, Attempt to Commit a Felony, Trafficking by Distribution, Abuse of a Child, Shooting at a Occupied Dwelling, Criminal Damage to Property, and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Amanda Padilla was arrested for felony warrants for Failure to appear on Fraud and Forgery charges from Sandoval County and an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a child support case in San Miguel County.
Task Force Investigators identified and located the Padilla’s in a vehicle near San Mateo and Gibson and they were both arrested.
