Nigel Farage has revealed to Sky News that he will appear on stage with Donald Trump in the US tonight.
The Republican presidential nominee is due to campaign on Wednesday evening in Mississippi and the former UKIP leader is also in the state.
Mr Trump made headline with a tweet in which he said: “They will soon be calling me MR BREXIT!”
Trump supported June’s UK vote to leave the European Union and said that the people are taking their country back.
“People are angry all over the world,” he said.
“They’re angry over borders, they’re angry over people coming into the country and taking over and nobody even knows who they are.”
Speaking on Super Talk Radio in the US state, Mr Farage said he had been part of a “political revolution” in the UK and there were the makings of a similar insurgency in the US.
“I’m going to say to people in this country that the circumstances, the similarities, the parallels, between the people that voted Brexit and the people that could beat Clinton in a few weeks’ time here in America are uncanny. And if they want things to change, they’ve got to get up out of their chairs, go out, and fight for it. It can happen.”
