TULSA, Okla. – Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma arrested a woman after she allegedly attacked a Sonic employee and a customer because her food order took too long.

TPD issued this news release:

CHAOS AT THE SONIC — meth, pepper balls, and an order that took too long.

On 4/9/2022 at 10:00 p.m., Officers were called out to the Sonic near 59th and S. Lewis for an assault with a weapon.

After investigating and talking with multiple witnesses, Officers learned the incident started with Stacy Minihan sitting in a Ford Expedition at one of the stalls at Sonic.
When the carhop delivered Minihan’s food, Minihan became very upset because the order took too long. As the carhop tried to explain the restaurant was short staffed, witnesses saw Minihan get out of the car, slap the tray of food out of the carhop’s hand, then punch the carhop in the chest.

Another witness followed Minihan attempting to get her license plate. Minihan then pulled over her car, got out, and shot that witness in the face with her Kimber Pepperblaster pepper ball gun. This victim was hit multiple times and bleeding from the head.

Minihan drove to a nearby Quiktrip where Officers caught up with her and placed her under arrest. Officers recovered the pepper ball gun (pictured), nearly 30 grams of meth, and other drug paraphernalia.

Minihan was arrested for:
– Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapons
– Assault & Battery
– Trafficking Meth

No word on what exactly was in that Sonic order or if any tater tots were injured.
