NY Man Arrested For Assault After Biting Off His Father’s Finger

NY State Police in Greenville arrested Christopher Clarke, age 21, from the Town of Greenville, for assault after Clarke bit off part of his father’s finger during an altercation.

NY State Police tell Breaking911.com that on December 19th at approximately 11:25 PM, troopers responded to The Dark Horse Tavern in Slate Hill for a report of a disorderly person in the parking lot. When troopers arrived, they learned that as a highly intoxicated Clarke was leaving the bar, he began to fight with other members of his party. His father, also Christopher Clarke, age 44, from Greenville, tried to restrain his son. While doing so, the younger Clarke bit off part of his father’s right index finger. The severed finger was not recovered.

Both Clarkes were transported to Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, where they were treated and released.

The younger Clarke was charged with one count of assault in the second degree. He was arraigned in Town of Wawayanda Court, and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $3,000 secured bond, pending a December 22nd court appearance.
