(Niagara Falls, NY – July 13, 2015) Lance E. Morrison, 45, of Niagara Falls, NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Obstructing Governmental Administration, No License and Unsafe Turn.
Morrison was observed failing to signal on Lafayette Avenue and Hyde Park Blvd. in the City of Niagara Falls. During the interviewing process, Morrison attempted to exit his vehicle carrying an alcoholic beverage.
Troopers detected an odor of alcohol emitting from him and advised him to have a seat in his vehicle.
Morrison exited his vehicle and ran into his apartment and locked the door.
Morrison eventually surrendered without incident and was transported to SP Niagara for processing after he was administered and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. His BAC results were 0.12%.
Morrison was issued Traffic Tickets returnable to the City of Niagara Falls on July 21, 2015.
