Man on Probation Threatens Employee With Butter Knife

FRESNO, Calif. — On Wednesday, 0ctober 28, officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving a male brandishing a butter knife at an employee.

Upon arrival, the primary suspect was detained and questioned.

The suspect, Allan Burnias, lied about his name and failed to state he was on probation. Officers searched Burnias and his back pack as a condition of his probation.

Fresno Officers located several electronic items and a stolen cell phone taken in a burglary.

Burnias was found to have additional stolen property in his possession. In addition, he is on probation for burglary and had a felony warrant for a probation violation.

The stolen cell phone was returned to a very happy victim. Burnias was booked into Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges.

The investigation continues as detectives attempt to locate additional victims and return their property.
