A Massachusetts police officer shot during a traffic stop has died, police said.
The suspect is still on the loose.
Auburn Police Officer Ronald Tarentino ‘was shot at about 12:30 a.m. after stopping a vehicle on a residential street’, according to the AP.
Tarentino, 45, was rushed to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
“We will leave no stone unturned to determine who murdered Officer Tarentino,” police told local media.
