Audio from a CSPAN feed before the President’s Oval Address on the Coronavirus captured him panicking after a staffer pointed out a pen mark on his shirt.
“I what? Oh, fuck! Uh oh, I got a pen mark…” before asking staff for “white stuff” to fix it.
The somber address seemed to go well but that wasn’t the end of the hot mic issues for the President. After the tech yelled “we’re clear,” President Trump unbuttoned his blazer and exclaimed, “okay… Okaaaayy.”
